After graduation from Lindberg Highschool in Renton, class of 1996, I went to Medical Assistant training in Tukwila. For two years after my graduation I worked as a Medical Assistant in a family practice clinic. I enjoyed working in the clinic setting but wanted more career options so I continued my education and earned my Practical License Nurse degree. In July of 2000 I started working in the General Thoracic surgery center at Swedish Hospital and then was hired by the Cline Galland home fulltime. After 5 years of working as a floor nurse I was promoted to Resident Care Manager and decided to continue my education. I returned to school and earned my Registered Nursing License, graduation in June 2011.
There are a numerous reasons I love the challenging yet rewarding profession of nursing. I have the heart and compassion for caring for people during their serious illness or post-injury. The ability to provide a high quality of life our residents and make a difference is very rewarding.
In my spare time I love spending time with my 18 and 6 year old sons. My 5 year old daughter, my husband and our new toddler!
